CHIROPRACTIC CARE
Chiropractic Use & Treatment
Chiropractic treatment focuses on bringing the spine into alignment. A chiropractor does this through the manipulation of the spine with his or her hands. Chiropractic treatment aims to restore proper alignment and joint function, relieve pain, and prevent further injury.
Most people will seek chiropractic treatment due to back or neck pain — in fact, it is the most common non-surgical treatment for back pain. Chiropractic treatment also can benefit those suffering from tension headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia, migraines, nerve pain, and whiplash.
Referred pains indicate nerve involvement, and are caused by badly functioning joints and muscles. However, the pain is felt in areas outside its cause. Chiropractic treatment can also help relieve referred pain in arms, hands, and shoulders, as well as in hips, knees, and feet.

Chiropractic Techniques
Active Release Technique is a movement based soft tissue technique that treats problems with the muscles, tendons, nerves, ligaments, and fascia. This technique combines examination and treatment to correct reduced ranges of motion and relieve pain.
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive technique based on the understanding of the continuous small movements of the cranial bones. By restarting normal cranial mobility the chiropractor can help patients restore misaligned bones, and release restrictions of the nerves.
Activator Technique is a chiropractic method and device which is used to analyze and find misalignments in the spine. The Activator device is a gentler approach to spinal manipulation, as it delivers a controlled, light and fast thrust.
Bowen Therapy induces a state of deep relaxation through applying rolling movements across the body. This state of deep relaxation stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, rests and restores the patient's body, and allows the body to find its natural balance.
